# Account & Settings

> Manage your LaTeX Cloud Studio profile, editor preferences, compile defaults, theme, and account-level settings.

LaTeX Cloud Studio includes a dedicated settings area for personal preferences and account-level controls.

## Available Today

* Profile editing for your display name
* Theme switching with light, dark, and system modes
* Default compile engine preferences
* Syntax highlighting color preferences
* AI usage statistics in account settings
* Subscription status visibility from settings

## What You Can Configure

| Area            | Available now                                              |
| --------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| Profile         | Name and account identity synced with authentication       |
| Theme           | Light, dark, system                                        |
| Editor defaults | Preferred compile engine                                   |
| Syntax colors   | Package names, imported files, commands, environment names |
| Subscription    | Plan status and usage context                              |
| AI usage        | Usage stats surfaced in settings                           |

## Account Flow

1. Open LaTeX Cloud Studio.
2. Open the account settings page from the app.
3. Update profile details or editor defaults.
4. Save changes to persist them to your account profile.

## Notes on Security

* Authentication is handled through the current access flow used by the app.
* This public docs area does **not** document enterprise SSO or admin provisioning as generally available user features.
